New Starfield DLC Starborn Hinted by Bethesda Trademark

Bethesda recently trademarked the term Starborn, hinting at an upcoming Starfield DLC title.
Starfield players are already waiting to play the new Shattered Space DLC , but the next title for its next DLC may have already been revealed. Based on a social media post by X user @bogorad222 , a trademark was submitted by Bethesda owner ZeniMax Media Inc., which itself is owned by Microsoft. The term or word that was trademarked was ‘Starborn,’ which has a bit of a spoiler attached to the term. If you have not finished the game yet, perhaps finish it first, then come back and read all about this speculated second DLC.
Alright, strap in and get ready to launch into what this second Starfield DLC could be related to . The word Starborn in the context of Starfield relates to the beings revealed after the player character collects enough artifacts for Constellation. During the course of the story, the beings are confirmed to be humans who have passed through a portal that enables travel between universes. When you complete the main story, you can begin a New Game Plus immediately. To do this, you must decide to become Starborn during the final quest titled ‘One Giant Leap’.
While not much is known about how big the Shattered Space DLC will be, maybe the Starborn one will be either just as big or a little smaller. Back in June, Bethesda Game Studios’ Todd Howard ensured the developer was committed to supporting Starfield long-term and confirmed at least one other story expansion will be released following this year’s Shattered Space . It is possible that Starborn might be what Howard was referring to. Howard also mentioned Bethesda is aiming to release an annual story expansion for “hopefully a very long time.” So, it could be something down the line.
The 450-person game studio has five active teams: Starfield, Elder Scrolls 6 , Fallout 76 , mobile, and external development partnerships. Elder Scrolls 6 has been in development for some time, so details about it could be revealed soon. However, based on some rough plans and development maps, it might not be released until 2028. Another Fallout game can be expected, but probably not for another five years at this rate. Fallout 76 is still receiving updates, so it could be a while before a new game is released.
