There have been many stars from the world of MMA who have shown up and performed in WWE.
Some of the top names that come to mind are former WWE Superstars such as ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey and Matt Riddle. The two have also held Championship gold in the promotion. Other current stars are former NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler and former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Sonya Deville.
While speaking to DAZN , Paddy Pimblett mentioned that he used to love watching the WWE as a child and that Shawn Michaels was his favorite professional wrestler .
“Yes, I have thought about that, to be honest. I have because I used to love the WWE growing up. Shawn Michaels, The Heartbreak Kid is my favorite fighter. I’d love to Sweet Chin Music someone in the cage in the UFC. D-Generation X, when I was even younger, X-Pac was my favorite wrestler.”
Pimblett is also aware that WWE pays well and mentioned that if Triple H wants him in WWE, he will make an appearance.
“So yeah, I would. WWE pays big money as well and you’ve got to have a character, you’ve got to have a personality and I’ve got a personality, so it would work. So yeah, Triple H, if you ever wanted to sign me up, just let me know I’ll make an appearance for some cash.”
