ComingSoon is excited to release an exclusive A Quiet Place: Day One special features clip from the upcoming home release for the blockbuster thriller . It arrives to buy or rent on Digital on July 30, 2024. It will then arrive on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K UHD SteelBook on October 8.

“Michael [Sarnoski] was impassioned right from the beginning. I remembered he gave us a visual. He said, ‘When everyone is headed downtown, which we had set up in A Quiet Place: Part II, what if the idea of one person going uptown, if there was someone going against the grain both literally and figuratively,’ and I thought that would be such a powerful image and a theme. I definitely revisited, in my head, images of 9/11. So tragic and so horrific that you couldn’t even process them. It was sort of this philosophical conundrum that also in a world like A Quiet Place in the setting, the aliens, would be extremely cinematic,” said John Krasinski in the A Quiet Place: Day One special features clip.

Who’s in the cast of A Quiet Place: Day One?

Based on an idea by John Krasinski, A Quiet Place: Day One is directed by Michael Sarnoski, who is best known for his work in the critically acclaimed 2021 drama Pig. The film stars Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o as Sam, Stranger Things breakout Joseph Quinn as Eric, Hereditary’s Alex Wolff as Reuben, and Gladiator’s Djimon Hounsou as Henry. The latter previously appeared in 2020’s A Quiet Place Part II, starring alongside Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy.
