Kevin Hart’s “Chocolate Droppa” alter ego returned for Kai Cenat’s annual AMP House freestyle cypher. On Sunday (July 28), Hart took to Instagram with an image of himself posing with the content creators in an image parodying the XXL Freshman Freestyle aesthetic. The comedian looked to drum up excitement for the cypher, typing, “It’s going down tonight at 6pm est….. let’s goooooooooo.” And Kevin Hart, or “Chocolate Droppa,” was not playing.

The musical alter ego grabbed the microphone after Kai’s best Lil Yachty impression and he, literally, didn’t give it back. “You know I get a lot of questions on the daily,” he asks in his triumphant return. “I think the biggest question is ‘Droppa where you been?’ My answer to that is minding my f**kin’ business.”

He immediately then referenced J. Cole, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar rapping about the “Big 3,” and spitting, “ All this talk about the Big 3, f**k that , them not me?/ Goddamn, I’m mad/ Oh sh*t, you sad?/ Well, it’s time to get glad, ’cause I’m back and I’m really mad.” And you know he had to reference the song of the summer, “Not Like Us,” rhyming, “ Sometimes you gotta pop out and show ni**as . I guess this is my pop-out.”

In the middle of his comedic attempt at rhyming, Hart then begins rapping a foreign language, that appears to be Cantonese. “That’s different languages bi**h I got it all it in my bag,” Hart asserts, taking note of his bilingual flex. As previously stated, the actor then takes the mic and walks away, insisting, “You don’t get the mic back after I just did what I did to it. This mic got to be burnt ,” and exits from the rooftop.

Streamers Duke Dennis, chrisnxtdoor, Agent 00, ImDavisss, and Fanum all offered verses on the annual Hip-Hop cypher as well.

Additionally, while Kai Cenat has insisted during multiple live streams that he wasn’t impacted by Tyla “friend-zoning” him, he addressed the viral moment in his verse. “I got a coupe, but its a Bez tho, kept it player even when she tell me that ‘we friends tho,'” he raps.
