Lainey Wilson ’s duet with Miranda Lambert will arrive weeks ahead of her highly-anticipated new studio album, Wilson confirmed on Monday morning (July 29).

“Good Horses” is one of 14 tracks set to appear on Whirlwind , Wilson’s follow-up to her award-winning album, Bell Bottom Country . The “Heart Like A Truck” singer previously teased the unreleased collaboration when she and Lambert performed it for the first time during the third night of her Wildflowers and Wild Horses shows in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lambert, who announced the release date of her new album last week , was also in Vegas for her residency, Velvet Rodeo, at the time.

The two singer-songwriters teamed up with Luke Dick to write “Good Horses,” the sole collaboration on Whirlwind . Grammy winner Jay Joyce produced the song, which “takes listeners on a soulful experience, evoking a sense of longing and familiarity, while exploring the theme of how love will always find its way back home - no matter where you are in the world,” reads a press release issued Monday morning.

“Good Horses” will follow three other Whirlwind tracks that released early. Wilson debuted her romantic ballad, “4x4xU,” her electrifying single “Hang Tight Honey,” and “Country’s Cool Again,” which inspired the name of her ongoing headlining tour.
