Jennifer Lopez’s Twins Are All Grown up in Sweet New Photos: ‘My Whole Heart’

Jennifer Lopez’s “coconuts” are getting so big! Her 16-year-old twins Emme and Max — whom she lovingly refers to as her “coconuts” or “cocos” — are so grown up in new pictures with their mom that we almost didn’t recognize them at first!

“My whole heart 💚🤍” the “Can’t Get Enough” singer wrote on Instagram on Sunday. In the first photo, Lopez looks stunning in a ‘50s-style light green dress cinched at the waist with a white belt. Her son Max’s arm is around her shoulders, and she reaches up to hold his hand. Lopez smiles at her “little” boy, who looks taller than his mom in this photo! Max wore an all-white pajama set with his name embroidered over the pocket in green. With his lush brown hair and slight smirk, he looks just like his dad Marc Anthony!

In the next photo, J. Lo shows the second half of her heart: Emme! She is glowing in this sweet selfie, wearing a white t-shirt and sunglasses. Emme leans in for the snap, dressed in a green button-down shirt. Black headphones hang from the teen’s neck as Emme smiles, hair blowing in the wind. You can tell how much love these two share, and it’s adorable.

Slide to the end for a throwback photo of the twins. The undated picture shows Emme and Max as toddlers with matching brown curly hair and long eyelashes. Emme leans into Max as they concentrate on something off-camera, and they are so incredibly sweet. This is probably how Lopez still thinks of her kids despite how much they’ve grown. (Moms just can’t help it!)

The Mother star opened up about her cute nickname for her kids in a 2022 interview on Live With Kelly and Ryan. “I like to think that they like it,” she said, per PEOPLE . “It’s cute I call them coconuts because they obviously are twins, there are two of them, and when they were in the crib when they were very very little and their hair looks like coconut hair so I used to call them coconuts. And it stuck. It just stuck.”

On Mother’s Day, she shared a heartwarming video of her and her twins throughout the years, and praised them in the caption. “Thank you for giving me the privilege and gift to be your mother,” Lopez said. “The most beautiful blessing of my life. Every day I wake up and think what I can do to be a better mother to you. I ask God to instinctually let me be able to feel what you need in every moment so I can guide you and love you in every way that I can, so I can show you by example what it is to be a loving, caring, conscious, good human to yourself and others.”

“Lulu and Max, I am here FOREVER to support you, encourage you, to remind you of your greatness of your goodness and your limitless capability,” she added. “You. Can. Do. Anything. Her twins are growing up, and Lopez’s love for them is just expanding.
