Tiffany also seemed surprised to find candy, electrical appliances, and hygiene products in the large store.

Tiffany’s video was quickly branded “ignorant” by several internet users who accused her of perpetuating harmful stereotypes about African countries and “mocking” Zimbabwean people.

“Peak ignorance!!!!” one person wrote , while another echoed, “You seriously cannot be this ignorant!!!”

Before long, Tiffany hopped into the comments herself to reply to one user who asked, “did you think we ate grass?” The actor wrote back, “No. But the media had me thinking all of your foods are purchased in out door markets with goats and cows just hanging out waiting to be slaughtered. With all kinds of smells and flies everywhere.”

In response, several people were even more frustrated. One person wrote, “U have access to literally all channels and books for u to be this ignorant,” while another said, “You could have done your own research and not depend on the media. I mean Google is free!”
