Olympian Anna Hall Reveals Bold Reaction to Taylor Swift's Show of Support

Olympic athlete Anna Hall revealed that, as she was training for her upcoming Olympic events, Taylor Swift liked her recent social media post—and she couldn't hold in her emotions.

After a Swiftie highlighted the fact that Swift liked a post on Instagram from Hall showing her journey to the 2024 Olympics that used "Out of the Woods" as a soundtrack, Hall shared her reaction.

"This my psa that taylor swift liked my instagram… i screamed in the weightroom at the olympic village when i saw the notification. if anyone was wondering😂," wrote the 23-year-old Olympian, with the official Team USA account replying, "I think this means you're best friends now."

In the original video, Swift's 1989 track accompanied footage of Hall's Olympic trials as she dominated multiple events and secured her spot on the official U.S. Olympic team.

Fans could relate to Hall's emotional response, with one Swiftie writing, "That is in fact the right reaction to have in this scenario! And then screen shot it and send to your entire contact list."

"A queen recognizes a queen," said another, while a third wrote, "The reach of Taylor and being a Swiftie always amazes me 🤩."

Many called the experience of getting a like from Swift "tayblessings," with the Swiftie who initially shared the news saying, "omg this is the cutest!! many tayblessings to Anna at the Olympics 🥹🫶🫶."

Hall is competing in the Olympics after an eventful first half of the year. She underwent knee surgery in January, and her success at the Olympic trials was extra significant after she broke her foot mid-trials in 2021.

Talking to NBC Sports ahead of the international competition, Hall said, "Falling in 2021, I just feel like the journey to get here has been so much harder than I ever imagined. I’m just so thankful that we finally made it."

Now, Hall can enter her competitions in Paris, France with a little extra confidence after Swift officially shared her support for the athlete.
