Jelly Roll's wife Bunnie XO issues scary health update of 'biggest fear' amid couple's IVF plans

Bunnie XO went through a terrifying health experience for the past several months as her husband, Jelly Roll , stayed by her side.

She described in a Facebook video on July 27 that she's been on a rollercoaster since March as she's worked with doctors to get to the root of a difficult brain issue. Bunnie said she started to experience "weird headaches," prompting her to take a look into her health. When her test results came back she learned that she had "aneurysm on my carotid artery."

The star added: "And I needed to go in for a CT scan with contrast to rule it out. Anybody that knows me knows that having an aneurysm is one of my biggest fears because my mom had one and it actually ruptured, but she lived."

The two-millimeter aneurysm left her feeling like she had a "death sentence" weighing down on her. Bunnie said: "You have to kind of come to grips with your own mortality, and that's never a fun experience to go through, ever."

Thankfully, though, a neurosurgeon provided some good news. A new evaluation showed that it might not be an aneurysm, after all. She said: "He also thinks that in six months, whenever I come back to retest and do another CT scan, that he will be able to prove that it is an artifact. His words were, 'I don't even know why the radiologist sent you in for this. Praise Jesus that I got that cleared. I am gonna go in and get a second opinion on Tuesday."

There is no word yet on how this might have affected the couple's IVF journey. In June, Jelly Roll opened up on their decision to really give the pregnancy method a shot as they were ready to have a kid. He said on the Bussin' With The Boys podcast: “My wife and I are talking about having a baby, and it really made me realize that at almost 40, I was like, it means I got to live to at least 60. I got to see this kid into college."

Bunnie echoed her husband on Instagram as she explained why they wanted to be public about the decision. She admitted that the "odds stacked against" them.
