Review: My Giant Maine Coon Kitten Is Obsessed with the Tavo Travel System

I'm obsessed with my Maine Coon cat and I want to bring him everywhere with me. Meatball is a 7-month-old kitten and weighs 15 pounds. He is huge but also a huge baby because he is just a baby , he's still a kitten! I've tried harness training him but he's still apprehensive about walking outside. That's why we've both fallen in love with the Tavo Maeve™ + Roscoe™ , a three-in-one pet car seat, stroller, and carrier travel system.

From the second I took it out of the box and set it up (Which was incredibly easy. I've never had any sort of stroller as easy to assemble as this) Meatball knew exactly what it was for. He learned the command for get in your stroller on day 1.

I could go on and on about how much Meatball not only loves taking walks in this stroller, but it's not just walking in it, all my cats love just being in it.

I mean, you can tell how much use they are getting out of it by the amount of cat fur on it! Now on to the most important things, the safety features. The Tavo Maeve™ + Roscoe™ is an incredible piece of equipmen t, especially if you love traveling with your pet. Tavo’s Maeve Pet Protection System comes with a cozy bed and carrier that connects quickly to the included vehicle base with stability leg and to the premium Roscoe stroller frame. Because I'm a rebel, I didn't even watch the video for connecting the bed to the stroller and it basically intuitively snapped right in. Amazing! The carrier bed has a plush memory foam mattress (which may be why my cats keep fighting over sleeping in it) and peekaboo mesh windows, which has a UPF 50+ canopy for sun protection. The stroller handle is equipped with a cup, cell phone holder and a leather box where you can store your keys and wallet. It's ridiculously easy to fold up, but there's no point in my house because I'm using it so much.

Tavo also sent me the Dupree, which is an impact-tested pet car seat and airline-compliant pet carry-on. Now, I have carry on kennels for my pet but I have never seen a piece of equipment like this. United Nations’ child restraint safety criteria.

The Dupree is making me check out airline ticket prices. As I said above, I always want Meatball with me but to be honest, I've been reluctant to take him on a flight until now. He's my baby and I worry about his safety but this carry-on pet carseat has so many safety features I can't imagine him being any safer. So with this carrier the doors actually roll down and attach with magnetic holders so you can easily pet your cat while they are in there. If you are using it in your car it has these steel-reinforced ISOFIX latches which connect to the vehicle's rigid latch anchor bars so this car seat is not moving at all. They have been tested and evaluated against the United Nations’ child restraint safety criteria. Your fur babies cannot be any safer while traveling.
