Columbia Co. School Superintendent talks changes coming in the school year

(WJBF) – The first day of school in Columbia County is Monday, August 5th.

School Superintendent Dr. Steven Flynt joined Mary Morrison Monday on NewsChannel 6 at Noon to talk about some of the exciting changes this school year.

Several construction projects are underway, including one project at Lakeside high school.

The new Westmont Elementary school should be ready by the start of school.

Open house has been moved to Sunday
