Yuto Horigome Repeats with Olympic Gold in Mens Skateboard Street

After winning gold in Tokyo in 2021, Yuto Horigome was the odds (regardless of what Las Vegas said) on favorite to win Skateboard Street again in Paris. Trailing behind Americans Nyjah Huston and Jagger Eaton going into his last attempt in Best Trick, Yuto put down one of his signature moves: Nollie 270 to backside bluntslide—perfect. The judges scored him in the 97-range and that put him on top.

Nyjah and Jagger each had one more attempt each, so the pressure was on. In the end, they both couldn't land their last attempts and settled with Bronze and Silver respectively. It was an incredible day under the French sun. Shout out to our homie Cordano Russell for making it to the finals at 19 years young. Seems like just yesterday his dad was bringing him in to skate the TWS Park.
