Melissa Gorga Slams ‘Phony’ Jennifer Aydin: ‘Everything She Does Is for the Show’

During Season 13 of Real Housewives of New Jersey , star Jennifer Aydin set up newbie Danielle Cabral. She told Danielle a rumor that Margaret Josephs allegedly told her friend, Laura Marasca Jensen. Since then, Margaret and Laura ended their friendship. Still, Laura claimed that Margaret told her that Melissa Gorga was in the backseat of a car, making out with another man.

Of course, Jennifer told Danielle this story in the hopes that Danielle would bring it up on camera. Unbeknownst to Danielle, Teresa Giudice and her husband, Luis Ruelas, had already confronted Teresa’s brother, and Melissa’s hubby, Joe Gorga about the rumor. Poor Danielle brought up the gossip to warn Melissa, and the rumor was exposed to the world.

Melissas Gorga claims that Jennifer Aydin is “so phony”

Melissa was a guest on Watch What Happens Live . In the clip, the ending of Melissa’s remarks was played first, then the tape rewinds to host Andy Cohen’s question. “Melissa, what are your thoughts on Jennifer Aydin continuing to bring up new allegations about the cheating rumor after she apologized for doing it last season?”

Melissa was tired of the hypocrisy . “It just goes to show you that she’s so phony. Like, it’s so phony,” Melissa said. “She sits down and she tries to have a conversation like she wants to move forward all the time.”

Melissa continued, “And no matter what she does, she has to shade Envy. Like the fact that she threw shade at Envy and the fashion show. And it’s like, what happened to women supporting women? Rooting for girls who are doing things, creating small businesses,” she stated. “You know, I was a young girl when I created that business, and it turned into what it is today.” I’m not sure our definition of “young” is the same, so I’ll let that slide. But kudos to you for your successful boutique.

“I just think she’s so phony in so many aspects and everything she does is for the show and not real,” Melissa added. “You love her?” Andy asked.

“Who?” Melissa asked, visibly confused. “I’m like ‘Andy, that’s what you got from that?’” A laughing Andy replied, “I didn’t.” Meanwhile, Melissa’s hubby laughed along in the audience.

“I’m like, ‘She’s wonderful. Yes,'” Melissa said. Hilarious!

The accusations that Jennifer leaked information to bloggers to influence RHONJ storylines seem to track Melissa’s sentiments. I’m not sure what the future of the franchise is, but some major spring cleaning needs to happen.
