Rita Ora Shares Health Update After Unexpected Hospitalization and Concert Cancellation

Rita Ora was expected to perform at Hungary's Campus Fesztivál over the weekend when she suddenly canceled due to a health issue that led to an overnight stay at the hospital.

"Please forgive this unexpected turn of events but sadly I will not be able to perform at Campus Fesztivál tonight," Ora wrote in a statement shared on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, July 27. "Having spent the night in hospital in Budapest, I must rest thoroughly and follow doctor's orders."

"I am so sorry to my fans who are going to be there today and I'm truly thankful for your understanding," the 33-year-old artist concluded.

The official social media team for the festival reposted the statement to its Instagram account, adding a few well wishes in the caption, which was translated to English by the platform as follows: "Rita Ora arrived to our country two days ago, but her concert in Debrecen is cancelled - because of illness. His crew has been working since dawn to set up the show.. we are devastated by the news too. Saturday’s program of the main stage will be reorganized soon. We wish Rita a speedy recovery!! ❤️."

In the days leading up to her hospital visit, the "Let You Love Me" songstress had performed at another festival in Lithuania, sharing several pictures from the July 25 event that "blew her mind" with over 50,000 people gathered in the pouring rain.

"I appreciate every single one of you and you brought the ENERGY 🇱🇹💖 SO happy I got to headline the As Young As Vilnius festival, an absolute honour," she added alongside Friday's post.

Information regarding Ora's condition or what pushed her to seek medical treatment has not been shared publicly as of Monday.
