Jennifer Garner was trapped in an elevator for over an hour last weekend, and lived to document the entire experience on social media.

The 13 Going on 30 standout attended her first San Diego Comic-Con on Sunday (July 27) and was faced with an incident that could have easily been handled with fear and frustration, but one that Garner met with humor. The star recorded her journey in chronological order in a time-stamped Instagram post.

"Hey guys. We're stuck on this elevator. I need..I could use a Wolverine . I could use a Deadpool , I could use someone...yeah...we're looking for stairs. Ok. Thanks for having us here! My first Comic-Con. Bye for now!"

Nine minutes later, the actress, reporting live from the floor of the elevator, revealed that it was "toasty" and that she was sweaty and "needed to blot" as the series proceeded.

35 minutes into the elevator extravaganza, Garner revealed why she chose to sit on the floor in the first place. "I think I heard on an episode of The Office or like Brooklyn Nine-Nine or something that you're supposed to sit... so we are sitting!"

At nearly 42 minutes in, the silver screen queen led the elevator in singing "99 Bottles of Beer" as she and a few other individuals waited to be rescued from the confined space.

At 45 minutes in, shortly after hypothetically taking down many bottles of beer on the wall, someone in the elevator called 9-1-1. 15 minutes later, the lights in the elevator came back on and Garner started to get hopeful that she would soon be saved (while simultaneously airing out her armpits).

Firefighters arrived on scene one hour and 12 minutes after the elevator broke down, releasing all the trapped individuals, and, much to Garner's surprise and delight, setting her free! Everyone cheered, and the actress shared the "short story" of events to Instagram, gifting the world with what is possibly the most positive account of getting trapped in an elevator to ever exist.

Watch the hilarious (yet slightly concerning) elevator extravaganza unfold below!
