    Elon Musk 'sliding into Hawk Tuah girl's DMs' as mogul promises 'not to take her posts down'

    The Hawk Tuah girl, Haliey Welch, has expressed her gratitude to Elon Musk for his guidance as she navigates the early days on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, claiming she's even getting "personal messages" from the mogu l.

    Initially, when GIFs and memes of Haliey Welch began to dominate our feeds, little was known about her. This sparked a global frenzy to find her social media accounts, leading to the creation of numerous fake and hoax profiles.

    These impostor accounts sometimes amassed tens of thousands of followers, with fans convinced they had found the real Texan. Yet, in one of her first interviews since stepping into the spotlight, the 21 year old confessed to Brianna LaPaglia on the Plan Bri podcast that she had actually shut down all her accounts months before for different reasons.

    There's a lot of top-notch news coming out of the US these days.

    Since going public, Haliey has been gradually launching new social media channels, with her Instagram becoming one of the fastest-growing profiles it's already garnered over 2.1 million followers and continues to rise.

    She's now ventured onto X, and she's loving it, even after just a short time. Her following has quickly soared to over 134,000, with none other than the platform's owner, Musk, among her followers.

    Musk hasn't just followed her; he's interacted with the Nashville native, prompting an enthusiastic reaction from her. In an early post, Haliey exclaimed: "I'm having fun on X! ".

    The tech mogul assured: "This is the free speech platform, so feel free to say whatever you want! Unless it's illegal, it won't be taken down. Of course, you should expect trolls and NPC attacks, but that's just part of the experience."

    Haliey expressed her admiration for Musk, who also reportedly slipped into her DMs, answering back: "I love u Elon ur my hero! ".

    She then captured their interaction and flaunted it on her Instagram stories, adding the caption: "Thanks for the advice big dawg."

    The Nashville native gained notoriety from a daring street interview with Tim and Dee TV, where one of her comments exploded across the internet. This led to a deluge of memes and GIFs taking over social feeds everywhere, from Instagram to X.

    After revealing her identity in a global quest, Haliey has become a beloved sensation, mingling with A-listers while keeping her feet firmly on the ground.
