Survivor's Remorse star Erica Ash tragically passed away at the age of 46 after a battle with cancer .
The actress and comedian also appeared on comedy sketch shows like MADtv and The Big Gay Sketch Show, the reality TV parody show Real Husbands of Hollywood, and the drama series In Contempt along with the Starz sitcom. Erica also appeared in movies like Scary Movie V, We Have a Ghost, and Outlaw Johnny Black.
TV host Loni Love confirmed Erica's death on X, formally known as Twitter. "Sad to confirm my friend and fellow actress Erica Ash's passing," she wrote.

"Erica was talented & hilarious. Whether it was the show Survivor’s Remorse or Madtv, she would put her all into her work," Loni continued, "She would always just be there.. now she’s gone.. My sincere condolences to her family."
The TV network BET also posted on Instagram a tribute to Erica. "We send our deepest condolences and love to her parents, siblings, friends, and family," it read, "Fly high Queen."
Actress Niecy Nash shared a photo of her and Erica on Instagram with the caption: "Rest Well Pretty girl @theericaash. Your last text to me was 'I’m gonna make you my #wcw' (Woman Crush Wednesday) Then we had a good keke."
"You will be missed! Thank you for all the laughs! Sending my deepest condolences to your family & loved ones," she added with a dove and heart emoji.
The host of the YouTube show Pedis & Mimosas, Shannon Mack, also shared a photo of Erica and herself as she revealed Erica is a guest on the upcoming season premiere. "Getting a call at 830AM this morning about the passing of @theericaash was not the news I wanted to wake up to. She was only 46 years old," she wrote.
"Erica was so sweet, funny, and had a genuine spirit. I can’t believe she is no longer with us," she added, "Thankful for the opportunity to have had her on my platform! She dropped a lot of amazing gems and I can’t wait for y’all to see it."
Tobias Truvillion, Erica's co-star on In Contempt, shared photos and videos of the actress. "A beautiful soul. A juggernaut of creativity. Please send some positive energy for her family Erica changed my life for the better," he said.
"She set the bar super high for herself and everyone around her," he continued, "We love you Erica. Thank you for being the masterpiece that you are. I love you."
