Matt Hardeman has no ill will toward fellow “Big Brother” houseguest Angela Murray, despite their heated rivalry.

After being the first person evicted from Season 26 of the CBS competition show , Hardeman, 25, said in an exclusive interview with The Post that he forgives Murray, 50, for lashing out at him and sending him home.

“This has been the same narrative I’ve told since it happened and it will continue to be that,” the tech sales rep said.

“I signed my life up for a life of forgiveness and it will continue to be that,” said Hardeman. “I will continue to try to model what that looks like, not just for people who have been in situations like that, but also for all viewers and all people who watch.”

He continued, “Forgiveness and reconciliation is always going to be the best route. If she gives me that opportunity and she wants to speak.”

As the first Head of Household, Murray was upset with Hardeman after he bluntly told the real estate agent that he’d target her if she nominated him. In response, Murray went on a tirade against Hardeman in front of the whole house, claiming that he “threatened” her.

She called Hardeman “crazy eyes” and a “brat” during her wild rant. She later nominated him for eviction and he was voted out 8 to 3.

Since the altercation aired, fans of the show have been brutally hating on Murray on social media — which Hardeman doesn’t approve of.

“I never want to watch a single person have their life get torn apart and taken away in a really public spotlight,” he told The Post. “It’s kind of the risk we run, entering into spaces like this.

“But 100%, I would be open to making amends with Angela — even though I don’t necessarily agree with how she treated me, or what she said,” he added.

On the show’s Instagram clip of Hardeman and Murray’s fight, fans slammed Murray for how she treated her fellow houseguest.

“She is a psycho!” one fan wrote.

“SHE NEEDS TO GO!!! BULLY!!!” another fan said.

“That wasn’t a fight. That was an attack,” a third comment read.

Looking back on his one-on-one talk with Murray, Hardeman acknowledged that his game was done as soon as he confirmed he’d nominate her if she put him up.

“I didn’t really mean it as a threat,” he said. “I think everybody who was on the black — at least in the conversations I had — were like, ‘I was totally blindsided.’ Kimo [ Apaka] communicated that to me. Kenney [Kelley] moments before said, ‘I tried to set up the parents all the way, and then she went behind and put me up.’ Lisa [Weintraub] said the same thing. ‘I felt like we were close and then she put me up as well.’

“To me, what it felt like was, ‘Hey Angela if I get put up and I win next week, I would put you up. Also the sky is blue and the grass is green.’ That’s how it felt from my perspective,” Hardeman explained. “This is ‘Big Brother,’ that’s how it works especially with week ones with the risk you take.

“Could I have communicated that differently or said that differently? Absolutely,” he admitted. “It’s definitely a move I’ll kick myself for.”

During his short time in the house, Hardeman formed a close bond with Makensy Manbeck, who was completely blindsided by his eviction.

He whispered to the 22-year-old construction project manager that their story wasn’t over when he got evicted — and he stands by that comment.

“Right now, me and Makensy are in chapter one. I don’t know what’s gonna happen [next], but I’m excited to see the story between us,” he said.

Hardeman added, “I saw on the live feeds she was saying, ‘Matt’s gonna be fine. He’s gonna get out and be dating some supermodel.’ But for me, that’s not the case. I’ll wait. We’ll see how that story unfolds.”

“Big Brother” airs Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays on CBS and Paramount+.
