    I-64E lanes reopened after Cabell County crash

    UPDATE: (5:44 P.M. July 29) – All lanes of I-64E have reopened after a crash Monday afternoon, according to WV 511.

    Dispatchers say two ambulances transported patients to the hospital, but they do not know if there were multiple patients in either ambulance.


    CABELL COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – A vehicle crash has two lanes of traffic shut down on I-64 in Cabell County.

    According to Cabell County 911 dispatchers, the crash happened around 3:31 p.m. Monday near the 12-13 mile marker of I-64 near the 16th Street exit. Dispatchers say they do not know how many vehicles were involved at this time.

    Medics are still on scene, but at this time, no one has been taken to the hospital, dispatchers say.

    The Huntington Police Department, Huntington Fire Department and Cabell County EMS are responding.
