Despite headlining the only two WrestleMania’s that he competed on, Sid Vicious, also known under Sid Justice and Sycho Sid, remains missing from WWE’s Hall of Fame. And now, while being interviewed on The Attitude Era Podcast , the former WWE and WCW star has addressed this, claiming his non-inclusion was down to Vince McMahon not liking him. However, with the disgraced billionaire gone, Sid believes the door could be opened for an induction and potentially even for a return as manager.

“Vince didn’t like me so much, I think that’s why they haven’t offered me that. But, with Vince being gone now, you’d think those people would say, ‘Hey, this guy, we still got him on contract. He is still making a little bit of money, it would help him if we did that,’ and it would help them as well … If you get back in, you might want to do something like a part-time deal, manager, or special, I think I was pretty good at interviews, too. There’s always a lot of people having a hard time with that. If I could teach them, maybe I could help them do their interviews.”

63-year-old Sid broke into the business in the late 80s, and his first gimmick was that of the masked Lord Humongous. From there, he would receive a massive break by working for New Japan under the name Vicious Warrior before joining the NWA/WCW as Sid Vicious, forming the Skyscrapers tag team along with Dan Spivey.

Still, due to his look and unique charisma, he was always destined for more, going on to become part of the Four Horsemen before catching the attention of Vince McMahon and joining WWE in 1991. However, despite being everything McMahon ever wanted in a wrestler, a failed drug test saw him quit the company, and from there, he moved between promotions several times before his full-time career in the ring ended after he broke his leg live on pay-per-view.
