Netflix's dating reality show, "Love Is Blind," is casting in the New England area, according to a post by its production company Kinetic Content.

The intrigue: If the stars align, we could see a new season featuring Massholes and Mainers bonding over Dunkin' iced coffees.

How it works: Fifteen men and 15 women from the same metro area are put into separate "pods" where they can only talk to their date.

    • The goal is to fall in love and get engaged without ever knowing what the other looks like.
    • Once they get engaged, the pair meets in person and moves into an apartment in their city for a month. By the end of the season, the couple marries or rejects one another at the altar.

State of play: The series is on its sixth season and has eight international versions.

    • Kinetic Content is also casting in Columbus , Ohio, Miami and Atlanta .
    • The casting team is accepting nominations from friends of potential contestants.

What to know: The application has at least 69 questions, ranging from your relationship to alcohol, deal-breakers and family traditions.

    • The application also asks for your level of education and social media handles.
    • One question asks, "Is finding love more important to you than being on television or gaining a following via social media? Be honest."

If selected, "Love Is Blind" reportedly pays contestants around $1,000 a week.

    • The couples who marry don't get any prize, but some contestants have made big money as influencers .
