Wing Fest - Donaldsonville - August 3

Crescent Park is the setting for wing competitions, live music from Big Frank Lil Frank, food, and drinks at the third annual Wing Fest. Team competition divisions are:

Gates are open from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with judging at 3:00 PM and awards at 6:00 PM.

Sugarland Music and Arts Festival - Napoleonville- August 3

Offering a full day of live entertainment, the Sugarland Music and Arts Festival features art showcases of local professional and student art, an arts & crafts market, a family zone with rides and games for the kids, music, food, libations, and festival swag at the Assumption Parish Community Center and Grounds.

Ratchet City Music Festival - Shreveport - August 3

The seventh annual Ratchet City Music Festival features live music from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the State Fair of Louisiana Fairgrounds. Guests will enjoy music, food, attractions, and school supplies giveaways.

White Linen Night - New Orleans - August 3

300 - 600 Julia Street

Showcasing the talents of local artists, White Linen Night takes place throughout New Orleans' Warehouse/Arts and Central Business Districts. The block party happens from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM with guests donning their finest white linen attire. A multitude of galleries will open their doors with captivating installations. There will be musical performances, food, and drink for this free and open to the public event.

Satchmo Summer Fest - New Orleans - August 3 & 4

New Orleans Jazz Museum at the Old U.S. Mint is the setting for the Satchmo Summer Fest. Honoring Louis Armstrong's birthday on August 4, the festival features two stages of music, a delicious culinary lineup, and an incredible indoor lecture series.
