It's been nearly two weeks since Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever last took the court against the Dallas Wings. They suffered a disappointing defeat going into the Olympic break, but Clark herself went out with a bang, breaking the WNBA record for most assists in a single game.

On Monday, the Fever got back to work as they held their first practice during the break. The entire roster was present in the practice session, save for guard Kristy Wallace, who is playing for Australia in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Typically, in Fever practices, the starters wear blue jerseys and the backups wear gray. One notable change in the lineup was All-Star Kelsey Mitchell wearing gray instead of blue. In her place with a starter jersey was forward Damiris Dantas.

Mitchell has started in all 26 games for the Fever this season, so the change during Monday's practice comes as a surprise. However, coach Christie Sides hasn't confirmed anything regarding an official lineup change once the season continues in mid-August.

The second-overall pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft is second on the Fever in scoring with 16.9 points per game, right behind Clark. She is also averaging 2.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists.
