Anthony Edwards Goes Viral For Supporting Obscure Olympic Sport

Team USA basketball star Anthony Edwards went viral Monday afternoon for being in the crowd and cheering on USA's Lily Zhang in her intense table tennis match.

This comes after he had a comedic conversation with the table tennis team saying how good he was at table tennis, while Stephen Curry lurked into the conversation saying how Edwards would lose 21-0.

Still just 22 years of age and the youngest player on the U.S. Olympic men's team, Edwards may just have the biggest and most joyful personality of the entire group. He doesn't waver one bit in confidence.

However, he will also be the first one to cheer you on and be your biggest supporter, as we've seen plenty on the basketball court with Kevin Durant and LeBron James .

Edwards will be back in action on Wednesday as the U.S. looks to improve to 2-0. It will face South Sudan, which pushed the Americans to the brink during exhibition play.
