ILLINOIS (WTVO) — The U.S. Department of Agriculture is providing technical and financial assistance to Illinois farmers impacted by tornadoes, winds, and flooding this year.

Livestock producers must submit documentation of reduced sales or deaths by March 3rd, 2025.

Producers who have crop insurance are instructed to report damage to their agent or FSA office within 3 days of discovery.

The USDA recommends contacting local service centers to learn more about program options.
