Over the weekend, Meghan Markle attended a business summit in the Hamptons, where she was featured on makeup artist Bobbi Brown‘s Instagram.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, debuted a stylishly casual ponytail, a notable shift from her typical hairstyles of letting her long, dark hair flow freely or pulling it back into a sleek bun.

This fresh, summery look caused a stir among fans, with some barely “recognizing” the Suits alum at first glance.

In the above photo that Brown, 67, shared with her followers, Markle could be seen donning a chic cream halter vest top and flowy matching trousers from St. Agni.

The mom of two and style icon added black oversized shades from Heidi Merrick and elegant gold bangle bracelets and layered necklaces by Cartier.

As for her new 'do, according to Hello!, Markle sported a style with a "slight parting at the front" and to some, it looked like her hair had been "twisted into an undone ponytail, with loose tendrils on the the side."

Fans reacted to Brown's post, with some noting that they did a double take when it came to spotting the Archetypes podcast host. "Is that Meghan Markle in the tan suit?" one wrote as another added: "I was wondering the same thing!" Someone else replied: "Came here to ask the same!" as one other commented: "It looks like her?"

Brown, the visionary behind the immensely popular Jones Road Beauty, confirmed to her global fanbase that it was indeed Markle pictured alongside her.

The event boasted an impressive array of attendees, among them Jamie Kern Lima, the visionary behind IT Cosmetics. That evening, Lima, 47, even managed to snap a selfie with the wife of Prince Harry.

The glittering soiree was orchestrated by Amy Griffin, a prominent investor behind leading beauty brands like Bumble, Goop, and Hello Sunshine. Designer Misha Nonoo and makeup guru Victoria Jackson, both close friends of Markle, also stopped by.
