Simone Biles Breaks Silence On Olympic Run After Injury Scare

Simone Biles isn't letting her early setback in the Olympics ruin the great time she's having in Paris.

The USA Gymnastics star had a dominant start in the Olympics and is currently leading the women's all-around leaderboard with a score of 59.566. However, it wasn't all perfect for her, as she suffered a calf injury at the start of the competition.

Biles' injury sparked concerns about her availability for the rest of Olympics. Fortunately, she's able to push through and isn't expected to miss any event.

On Monday, Biles posted several photos of her from the Olympics so far, all while expressing how "grateful" she is for the opportunity to represent the US and keep playing the sport she loves.

"grateful to be doing what I love," Biles wrote.

It's clear that Simone Biles is not bothered at all by her recent injury. Instead, she's enjoying the chance to do gymnastics and fight for gold for the USA.

Regardless of the outcome of the Summer Games, though, Biles is certainly proud to be where she is today.
