The Bachelorette Season 21 Episode 4 shows Jenn Tran falling for a few of the men in her season. She has strong feelings for several of her contestants, and they’re putting their all into winning her heart. However, they’re not the only ones hoping to have a relationship with Jenn. Previews allude that Jenn’s ex, Matthew Rossi, arrives on the show unexpectedly.

So, who is Matthew? He’s a digital creator living in Boston who dated Jenn years ago and broke her heart. His Instagram shows that he loves to work out and adores his dog.

Jenn talked about Matthew indirectly in videos she posted to social media. In one TikTok , she referenced him as “Weiner Boy” because of his dachshund and explained why they broke up.

In the TikTok, Jenn says she was “head over heels” in love with “Weiner Boy” and hoped to marry him, but he dumped her three months into their relationship. This devastated Jenn, and in the wake of the breakup, she had a friend ask her if she wanted to head to Miami, Florida. Jenn went on the vacation and loved the warm city. She later applied to 10 physician assistant schools and got into the one in Miami, thus making her choice easy.

“If I never dated Wiener Boy in the first place, if Weiner Boy never broke my heart so badly that I wanted to go to Miami, if I never had gone to Miami, I would’ve never applied to school in Miami,” Jenn said. “And if I never applied to school in Miami, I would have never gotten into PA school, and I wouldn’t be in PA school right now.”

Matthew Rossi hasn’t been shy about discussing his relationship with The Bachelorette Season 21 lead, Jenn Tran. He posted a TikTok explaining why he broke up with Jenn and used his dog to tell the story.

In the TikTok , he says he was a “24-year-old f***boy living in Boston with his three best friends.” As coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions were ending, he was “painfully single” and went on Hinge and met Jenn. Matthew calls her “cute” and “sweet” in the clip and also mentions that Jenn was “totally out of his league.”

“Things started to heat up and got pretty serious, and Jenn was ready to settle down,” but Matthew didn’t want to yet. Matthew and Jenn stayed friends through the years. At the end of the TikTok, Matthew jokes that he now uses his ex “for clout.”

Matthew spends the last few seconds of the clip whispering into the camera and asking Jenn to give him another chance.
