Jason Kelce's Interaction With U.S. Rugby Star Ilona Maher Goes Viral

Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie, are in Paris to cheer on Team USA at the 2024 Olympic Games.

Kelce met up with the United States women's rugby team, led by superstar athlete Ilona Maher. The recently-retired NFL center donned a rugby jersey and beret for the event.

Maher, who's recently skyrocketed to stardom through her presence on social media and play on the rugby pitch, asked Kelce if he would agree to be the rugby team's official super fan.

"Women's water polo has Flava Flav as their super fan ... do you get anything from being our super fan? No, there's no award, no money, no benefits. I don't have any free stuff," Maher said. "... But if you just want to be our super fan, you can just say 'I'm a fan.'"

"I am officially a fan of women's rugby," Kelce said.

"We got Jason Kelce!" Maher replied.

This interaction is going viral on social media.

"Honored to have @jason.kelce and @kykelce watch our matches. I’ll be sending over the super fan contract soon," Maher added in an Instagram caption.

Maher and the United States rugby squad will face off against the reigning Olympic gold medalist New Zealand team in a semifinal matchup on Tuesday.
