If you've been watching the 2024 Paris Summer Olympic G ames, you may have noticed there are a slew of former and current Big Ten athletes taking the stage in multiple sports. On Monday, that focus turned to the U.S. men's gymnastics team and its quest for a medal in the team competition final.

It was a stellar showing by the five men on the team, and it was good enough to earn a bronze medal. Three of those five athletes competed in the Big Ten last season and had an integral part in all that went into bringing a medal home for the United States for the first time since the 2008 games in Beijing.

Frederick Richard and Paul Juda from Michigan helped the team perform hit after hit on multiple apparatuses, while pommel horse specialist Stephen Nedoroscik from Penn State, clinched third place with a clutch, last performance of the competition.

The Americans beat out Great Britain and Ukraine for the bronze, finishing behind Japan (gold) and China (silver).
