SM Entertainment recently shared a health update for fans of Aespa’s Karina before their Japan concert at Fukuoka. On July 28, 2024, the entertainment agency revealed that Karina would not participate in the Osaka concert. Reportedly, a doctor made the diagnosis after the girl group finished rehearsal.

Aespa is scheduled to perform at Japan’s Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall B on July 30, and SM Entertainment has recently revealed if Karina will join the group. Meanwhile, Aespa will continue their SYNK PARALLEL LINE in August as well. The award-winning girl group will perform in Taiwan, China, Japan, Indonesia, and Australia.

    Is Aespa’s Karina okay?

Aespa’s Karina will not attend Fukuoka’s upcoming SYNK PARALLEL LINE live tour concert. Per SM Entertainment, the 24-year-old singer needs rest to heal from her physical condition. The girl group’s official X account tweeted (originally in Korean), “After a long discussion, Karina will inevitably not participate in the Fukuoka performance as well. We have made a decision, so we ask for your understanding.”

Hence, the July 30 and 31 concerts at Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall B will feature three members: Giselle, Winter, and Ningning. Karina will also not attend the CD sales space raffle benefit Meet & Greet.

Aespa has a month-long schedule for August to entertain K-pop fans. The group have shared the long list of cities where they will hold their 2024 world tour SYNK PARALLEL LINE concerts. Check out the dates of their August concert below:

    • August 3, 2024: AsiaWorld-Expo Hall 10, Hong Kong, China
    • August 10, 2024: NTSU Arena, Taipei, Taiwan
    • August 17, 2024: Tokyo Dome, Tokyo, Japan
    • August 18, 2024: Tokyo Dome, Tokyo, Japan
    • August 24, 2024: Beach City International Stadium, Jakarta, Indonesia
    • August 31, 2024: Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney, Australia

SM Entertainment is known for creating groups with impeccable vocal skills, and Aespa’s ongoing world tour is living up to the group’s long-lived reputation. While Aespa has featured several EDM-based experimental tracks in their setlist, the girl band has often showcased their vocal prowess during live performances.

Aespa’s current SYNK PARALLEL LINE setlist features tracks like “Drama,” “Black Mamba,” “Salty & Sweet,” “Supernova,” “Illusion,” “Thirsty,” and more tracks.
