Everybody Still Hates Chris, an animated revival series based on the UPN (later, The CW) sitcom Everybody Hates Chris, has been announced. This has prompted the fans to wonder when it is coming out.

Here’s all the Everybody Still Hates Chris release date information we know so far, and all the details on when it is coming out.

Is there an Everybody Still Hates Chris release date?

Everybody Still Hates Chris’ release date could arrive by late 2024.

At the Sun Diego Comic-Con, Comedy Central unveiled the first-look poster of the animated revival of Everybody Hates Chris, titled Everybody Still Hates Chris. Sanjay Shah, who serves as an executive producer on the show, said in a statement, “I wanted this job to get free tickets to a Chris Rock stand up show, but we ended up making something we’re proud of that is true to the original series we all loved” (via ABC News).

Created by Chris Rock and Ali LeRoi, Everybody Hates Chris offers a comedic account of Rock’s early life in the late ’80s. It aired for one season on UPN from 2005 to 2006, before shifting to The CW, where it aired for the remaining three seasons until 2009. Rock will serve as an executive producer and reprise his role as the narrator in the newer series.

Terry Crews and Tichina Arnold, who portrayed Chris’ parents Julius and Rochelle in the live-action series, will voice their respective characters in the animated revival. The other members of the voice cast are Tim Johnson Jr. as Chris, Terrence Little Gardenhigh as Drew, Ozioma Akagha as Tonya, and Gunnar Sizemore as Greg.

The aforementioned tentative release date is an estimation based on the information we have at the time of this writing.

Where is Everybody Still Hates Chris coming out?

Everybody Still Hates Chris is anticipated to come out on Comedy Central and Paramount Plus.

After the SDCC announcement, Rock released the following statement, “I’m very excited to introduce the world to another funny side of my childhood.” Crews and Arnold, who were present at the show’s SDCC panel, also stated that they were excited to portray those characters again.
