    Meet the candidates for Holmes County Fair royalty; 101st annual event begins Monday

    The 2024 Holmes County Fair king and queen will be named in a ceremony in the large arena at 5 p.m. Monday.

    Five candidates are vying for queen and two for king of the 101st Holmes County Fair.

    ∎ Alisha Felix, 17, the daughter of Russell and Kristen Felix. She is a member of Western Holmes 4-H Club.

    She will be a senior at Loudonville High School in the fall.

    ∎ Jenna Sheldon, 16, the daughter of Brent and Tara Sheldon. She is member of Lakeville Country Farmers 4-H Club, West Holmes FFA and Holmes County Junior Fair Board.

    She will be a senior at West Holmes High School in the fall.

    ∎ Casey Ogi, 16, daughter Trevor and Ashley Ogi. She is member of Lakeville Country Farmers 4-H Club and West Holmes FFA.

    She will be a senior at West Holmes High School in the fall.

    ∎ Miley Snow, 17, is daughter of Don and Tobie Snow. She is a member of the Killbuck Handy Helpers 4-H Club and West Holmes FFA.

    She will be a senior at West Holmes high school in the fall.

    ∎ Liberty Hendrix, 17, th edaughter of JR and Misty Hendrix. She is a member of Prime Cuts 4-H Club.

    She will be a senior at the Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center in the Animal Veterinary Science program.

    ∎ Tristan Houin, 16, the son of Craig and Jane Houin. He is a member of Nashville Jolly Farmers 4-H Club and West Holmes FFA.

    He will be a junior at West Holmes High School this fall.

    ∎ Quentin Vehrs, 17, and is the son of Raymond Vehrs and Dusty Vehrs. He is a member of the Rim Rock Riders 4-H Club and West Holmes FFA.
