WWE superstar Karrion Kross recently referenced Kofi Kingston’s shocking loss to Brock Lesnar on the latest episode of Raw. In 2019, Kofi Kingston experienced a meteoric rise in popularity, leading to the infamous “KofiMania.” This culminated in a WrestleMania 35 victory over Daniel Bryan, now known as Bryan Danielson, capturing the WWE Championship.

Kingston’s title win provided WWE with a much-needed connection with fans. This created one of the most memorable moments in recent memory. He successfully defended the championship against several top stars, including Dolph Ziggler, Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, and Kevin Owens.

However, his reign was abruptly ended on the 20th anniversary of SmackDown when Brock Lesnar defeated him in a mere eight seconds, ending Kingston’s 180-day championship run. This eight-second loss resulted in a massive backlash from fans who felt betrayed after investing emotionally in Kofi Kingston’s compelling storyline.

Following the devastating defeat, Kingston never received a rematch and was promptly relegated back to the tag team division. Since then, he has remained a core member of The New Day.

On the latest episode of WWE Raw, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods continued their feud with Karrion Kross and The Final Testament. Before their match against Woods, Kross attempted to recruit Woods into his faction. Kross took a dig at Kofi Kingston by suggesting that Woods convince his partner to retire after his humiliating six-second loss to Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship.

It appears Kingston did not let Karrion Kross get away with his dig on the latest edition of WWE Raw.

Kofi Kingston response to Karrion Kross: ‘8 seconds longer than you’ve held a title’

Former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston has decided to respond to Karrion Kross’s dig. Kingston took to X (formerly Twitter) to correct Kross’s mention of ‘6 seconds’ and took a jab at Kross’s main roster run.

Karrion Kross, whose main roster run has been without a title win, contrasts with his WWE NXT career, where he held the NXT Championship twice.
