ISAC 2024 K-Pop Artists Lineup Confirmed

MBC’s popular K-pop sports show ISAC (Idol Star Athletics Championships) 2024 will be held during the Chuseok holiday in mid-September. The reported lineup promises the presence of multiple globally famous superstars, including WayV members, NCT Wish, The Boyz, Billie, UNIS, Weeekly, and more.

The Idol Star Athletics Championship started in 2010. The annual sports and gaming variety show competition became extremely popular, allowing K-pop idols to show their sportsmanship, resilience, and excellence in various challenges.

Despite its popularity, ISAC took a break from filming for over two years. But in 2024, MBC has confirmed the show’s revival, which will air in the fall.

MBC has revealed the show will finish filming in August and air in mid-September during the South Korean Chuseok holiday. This year, Chuseok will be celebrated from September 16 to 18.

ISAC 2024 has also confirmed a new series of hosts. The new edition of the variety shows will see Jun Hyun-moo, singers Lee Chan-won and Kang Daniel, NMIXX’s Haewon and STAYC’s Sieun, and rapper Din Din putting on the MC hats for ISAC.

Meanwhile, MBC has also revealed some categories where idols will show off their sportsmanship this year, including athletics, archery, futsal, dance sports, and breakdancing. The Breakdancing category is a new addition to ISAC, allowing K-pop icons to flaunt their fusion dance style.

Previously, ISAC has seen the birth of many K-pop superstars as the ultimate all-rounders. Some of ISAC’s most famous winning faces are SHINee Minho, Highlight Yoon Doojoon, BTOB Minhyuk, and former WJSN member Seongso.
