Tennessee offered a scholarship to 2026 shooting guard prospect Qayden Samuels.

“Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Samuels said.

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound four-star shooting guard prospect is from Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, Maryland.

Samuels ranks as the No. 31 prospect in the class of 2026. He ranks as the No. 7 shooting guard and No. 1 player in Maryland, according to 247Sports.

Samuels has scholarship offers from Tennessee, Syracuse, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Alabama, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Villanova, Georgetown, Kansas, George Mason, Rutgers, Florida State, VCU, Providence, Maryland and Illinois.

Center DeWayne Brown is Tennessee’s only commitment in its 2025 recruiting class.
