A WOMAN has revealed that she and her partner decided to ditch their house, and have instead converted a van into an off-grid tiny home to live in.

Priya revealed that it took the couple seven months to convert the van, which has everything from USB charging ports to permanent internet access.

Taking to TikTok, Priya shared a tour of her van, and people were so impressed by how luxurious it looks.

The couple have been clever with their use of space, doubling up chairs and tables as storage cupboards.

"Our seating area has so much storage underneath that a tiny human could live in there", she joked.

"Storage was an issue in our old van, so we wanted to fix that".

Priya's van has everything she needs, including an oven, an induction hob, and a gold sink.

She has even Velcroed her cushions to the walls, so that they don't fall off.

It also has fridge, which Priya described as an "absolute luxury".

The van runs completely off-grid, and is powered by a large solar panel, which is attached to the roof.

Priya said that her favourite parts of the van are the Skylink, which means that the couple can get internet "wherever they go" and the skylight, which means that they can stargaze at night.

"I love living in our van and I love our van", she said.

    "You cannot convince me otherwise".

Priya's van tour, which was posted under the username @himynameispriya, has likely left many people impressed, as it has racked up over three million views on the video sharing platform.

TikTok users raced to the video's comment section to share their thoughts.

    The Rise Of Van Life

The rise of van life began during the pandemic in 2020. With no one able to leave the country, staycations became popular for many say camping blog venturecampers.

On top of that, the rising cost of renting a house has put many off doing so, especially when wages have failed to keep up with the cost of living crisis.

Although it has gained popularity again, many people opted for van life in the 60s and 70s.

One person said: "This is amazing, I can't believe you made that".

A second person said: "This is beyond beautiful."

A third person added: "You're both so hard working, the van looks amazing, like a real home!"

A fourth person chimed in: "This is probably the best van build I've seen."
