Fans Are Comparing Dexter Lumis’ Eerie New Look To Famous Rock Star

Dexter Lumis hasn’t wrestled in over a year, although having re-debuted as part of The Wyatt Sick6 portraying Mercy the Buzzard in human form that is set to change next week when he teams with Erick Rowan and Joe Gacy against Chad Gable and the Creed Brothers. This highly anticipated six-man tag match was made during this week’s Raw episode following a confrontation between all those involved.

However, despite this segment being a highlight of Raw, the big talking point on social media wasn’t the upcoming match. Instead, it was the fact that Uncle Howdy’s stablemates unmasked, and Lumis, in particular, had a completely new look. Subsequently, fans have compared the former American Psycho-inspired character to Rob Zombie, although some old-school fans believe he may be paying tribute to Kevin Sullivan’s 1980s look.

WWE previously released Lumis back in April 2022 due to budget cuts and the fact he’d aged out of NXT 2.0. This would see Lumis return to the indies, where he competed under his real name, Samuel Shaw. Yet that would be short-lived, as once Triple H was given hiring power, he quickly re-signed Lumis and almost immediately put him on the main roster, where he feuded with The Miz.
