French Olympic diver Jules Bouyer sends fans wild with tight trunks as viewers joke he's 'leading by inches'

Olympic diver Jules Bouyer has been making waves both in and out of the pool after his snug swimming trunks went viral . The Frenchman is gunning for gold at Paris 2024, but fans are jesting that he's already hit the jackpot.
The 22-year-old Bouyer is hoping to bag a medal when he takes part in the final of the men's synchronized 3m springboard on Friday with team-mate Alexis Jandard. However, a poolside photo of Bouyer has already got some spectators buzzing about his participation.
Bouyer was snapped by the pool after emerging from the water sporting a pair of particularly tight trunks that gave fans quite an eyeful. The picture has since spread like wildfire on social media with users unable to stop chattering about it.
"I just really hope his speedo is getting paid time and a half," one fan jested. "Olympic Bulge gold medal winner Jules Bouyer, France leading by inches," another quipped.
While a third cheekily commented: "Totally cheating! Most divers have 2 legs but he has 3!"
Bouyer will also compete in the individual 3m springboard next week, an event he won silver in at the European Diving Championships in Rzeszow last year.
The Annecy-born athlete bagged bronze in the mixed team at the World Championships and nabbed gold in the European Championships in the 3m springboard synchro in Belgrade earlier this year.
Bouyer was lucky not to suffer the same fate as one performer during the opening ceremony on Friday, who had a rather unfortunate wardrobe malfunction. During a controversial scene of the opening ceremony, one performer's testicle was caught outside of his tight shorts.
Unaware of his embarrassment, or the added draft on the River Seine, the wardrobe malfunction was eye level for most of the viewers during the claimed scene of the Greek God Dionysus, which received massive backlash for a resemblance to Leonardo da Vinci's 'The Last Supper' painting of the Biblical scene of Jesus Christ and his disciples.
The backlash from the section, supposedly not the stray testicle, saw a U. S.
tech company C Spire withdraw their advertising sponsorship from the Olympics over the controversy.
