Ryan Reynolds Makes 'Rare' Home Life Comment About Blake Lively, Children

Ryan Reynolds is embracing the beautiful mess that is life at home with wife Blake Lively and their four adorable children.

The Deadpool & Wolverine star got candid about his personal life and the love he has for his family in the latest episode of iHeartRadio podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat , revealing that he is constantly soaking up the precious moments that come with fathering young children.

The 47-year-old actor, who shares children James , 9, Inez , 7, Betty , 4, and Olin , 1, with Lively , is choosing to "embrace the chaos" while he can.

"They're all under our roof right now. The whole family’s under our roof right now. We have them all.' And that is a fleeting thing. Not an infinite resource, you know?" While having four children under the age of 10 under one roof is certainly a blessing, it does come with its challenges.

"It does get to you. And it’s okay to be like, 'f***, I am dying.' Because that’s gonna happen every other day."

Whenever he gets stressed or sleep-deprived, Reynolds reminds himself that this is not forever , and that he must enjoy each day with his family as it comes.

"I would love to spread out and fall asleep normally again. Just say, 'Think about what you would give in 40 years or 30 years to come back and enjoy this one moment.'" In recent weeks, The Proposal star has not only revealed the name, but the gender of his youngest child (whom he shares with the beloved Gossip Girl alum) after nearly a year-and-a-half of attempting to keep the child's identity a secret.
