Over the last two years, Usher has been killing it on the road, in Las Vegas for his residency, on the world’s biggest stage at The Super Bowl — and now, the silver screen. Usher: Rendezvous in Paris is officially set to arrive in movie theaters on Sept. 12 for a limited run through Sept. 15.

According to a press release, the upcoming film “incorporates the essence of his landmark cultural phenomenon Vegas residencies into a seductive French touch confession.” The footage was captured during Paris Fashion Week at La Seine Musicale and features “never-before-seen costumes and state-of-the-art lighting and special effects.” Directed by Anthony Mandler, Rendezvous in Paris is expected to play in approximately 2,000 locations across the globe.

And of course, fans can expect to hear special renditions of all Ush’s smash hits, including “Yeah!,” “My Boo,” and “Love In This Club.” The project also will give people an inside look in to his life “beyond the stage.”

“Paris was a special experience for me as an entertainer and for my fans,” said Usher about the film. “I hope those who weren’t able to make it in person get to experience how special it was. As for those of you who were, I hope you experience the show and see what it takes to get there through a different lens.”

“For 30 years, Usher has captivated and entertained audiences through his music and concerts. Just a few months ago, he drew rave reviews for his stunning performance in front of 129 million people during the Super Bowl Half Time Show. Bringing his unparalleled concert experience to movie theatres for his fans around the world is a perfect fit for AMC Theatres Distribution,” added Adam Aron, Chairman and CEO, AMC Theatres.

Tickets will be available on https://usherinparis.com/ .

The 45-year-old entertainer has had an extremely active last few years, starting with his successful Las Vegas residency that came to a finale in December 2023 after 100 shows. In February 2024, he headlined Super Bowl LVIII as he ran through his catalogue for the halftime show. The performance has since earned three Emmy nominations .

On the music front, Usher released COMING HOME on Feb. 9, 2024. The album boasted guest appearances from names like 21 Savage, Summer Walker, Latto, The Dream, H.E.R., and Jung Kook across 20 tracks. Revisit the LP below and grab tickets to Usher: Rendezvous In Paris above.
