Giulia provides a timeline for her remaining Marigold dates.

Dream Star Fighting Marigold founder Rossy Ogawa recently told Tokyo Sports that Giulia’s time in Japan was nearing its end. On Tuesday, Giulia confirmed the exact date of her final Marigold match, as well as her final match opponent.

After she and Sareee defeated Kizuna Tanaka and Victoria Yuzuki at Marigold’s July 30 event in Korakuen Hall, Giulia delivered an emotional post-match promo centered on her future in Japan.

“August 19th, here at Korakuen Hall, will be my last match in Japan,” Giulia said.

Between now and August 19, she will compete in five bouts, four of which remain a surprise for now. The last will see Giulia face her former Donna del Mondo stablemate Mai Sakurai. On the July 30 show, Sakurai and MIRAI won the Twin Star Tag Team Championships. On August 19, though, Sakurai will now look to defeat her former mentor, Giulia, in her final Marigold match.

Following her departure from Marigold, and Japan, Giulia will head to the United States, where she will then reportedly begin her tenure with WWE under the banner of the NXT brand. There, Giulia hopes to “challenge the world of pro wrestling.”

Giulia, a former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion, has drawn a myriad of buzz since appearing in the crowd at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver 2024. NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez doesn’t seem to be fazed by the buzz, however, as she feels that nobody compares to her.
