In need of a few country songs that start with K? These six stellar tracks are just what you had in mind. Let’s take a look!

    1. “Kerosene” by Miranda Lambert

You couldn’t escape this hit track from Miranda Lambert’s debut album of the same name back in 2005. It’s quite the addicting tune, too. “Kerosene” follows Lambert’s narrator as she struggles with the internal battle that usually follows being cheated on. Rather than taking the mopey, self-pitying route, she decides to splash a bit of kerosene on her two-timing lover’s home and set it on fire. You know, like normal people handle betrayal.

    2. “Kiss An Angel Good Mornin’” by Charley Pride

This 1971 country-pop track is a classic. In fact, “Kiss An Angel Good Mornin’” quickly became Charley Pride’s signature song and helped cement his status as the very first black country superstar in the genre. The track quickly hit no. 1 on the US Hot Country Songs chart upon its release.

    3. “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye” by Luke Bryan

“Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye” is a solid Luke Bryan throwback from 2012. It may have been the final single from his album Tailgates & Tanlines, but it did quite well on the charts, hitting no. 1 on the US Country Airplay chart.

    4. “Keep On The Sunny Side” by The Carter Family

The Carter Family’s 1928 rendition and later 1964 rendition (featuring Johnny Cash) of this classic American song are considered the most popular. However, the song itself wasn’t actually written by the famous Carters. It was written way back in the 19th century by hymnwriter Ada Blenkhorn and J. Howard Entwisle.

    5. “Kansas City” by Willie Nelson

We’d be bold enough to say that “Kansas City” by Willie Nelson is one of the famed country star’s most underrated songs. When this writer thinks of country songs that start with K, this track immediately comes to mind. The song comes from Nelson’s 2000 album Milk Cow Blues and also features the vocal stylings of Susan Tedeschi.

    6. “Killin’ Time” by Clint Black

This classic 80s country tune was written by Hayden Nicholas and popularized by country star Clint Black. It was the titled track of Black’s album of the same name in 1989, and it didn’t take long for the song to become Black’s second no. 1 hit on the Hot Country Singles chart. Country songs from the 1980s definitely don’t get enough love.
