Two-time Grammy nominee Demi Lovato and her fiancé Jordan ‘Jutes’ Lutes have added a cuddly new member to their household! The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer shared some sweet snaps and a video on Instagram on Sunday showing the little dog who looks like they may be a Maltipoo or a Maltipoo mix.

Whatever breed he is, he sure is cute and his name is equally adorable!

The couple named the tiny pup 'Pickle" and in the first image Lovato holds him while he's cozily wrapped in a towel, fresh out of a bath.

People are congratulating the couple on their adorable new addition on Instagram.

One person said, "What a beautiful baby!" Another added, "There's nothing as sweet as a new puppy."

That's so true! Puppies are just the best but can be so much work! If you are planning on adding a new addition to your family, and hopefully it's a shelter pup, here are some things you need to get you started.

What You Need for a New Puppy

    Best to be prepared

If you are adopting a new puppy, it's always fun to shop for their first supplies. Sure, it's always tempting to head to your local pet supply store and buy all the things, but you really only need a few basic items to get your puppy sorted in his new home.

Make sure you have a well fitting collar with an ID tag and that your new fur baby is microchipped. Also get a leash, and it doesn't have to be a very long one, just long enough for taking him on walks and outside to conduct his business.

Make sure you have a water and food bowl and because puppies are so little you don't need very large ones yet.

A crate for training is important , and as tempting as it is to let your baby sleep with you (And listening to your puppy cry is so hard!) a crate will help them with house training and provide a safe place for them to sleep when you can't police them.

A soft bed to put in their crate is nice, but considering they probably aren't house trained yet accidents will happen . Puppy pads and an old towel or blanket you can toss in the wash are a better choice.

A few puppy sized chew toys can help with teething and mental stimulation. Also some small vet-approved treats for basic training commands are a good idea too.

Enjoy this time with your new puppy, they grow up much faster than you can imagine!
