TVLine has learned exclusively that Acorn TV, AMC Networks’ streaming service that specializes in international mystery, dramas and comedies, has renewed the Jane Seymour-led Irish mystery series for Season 4.
Production is now underway in Dublin, Ireland, as seen in the BTS photo above of star and executive producer Seymour with co-star Rohan Nedd, who plays Fergus. A Season 4 episode count is not yet available.
A top performer for Acorn TV in its second and third seasons, Harry Wild stars Seymour ( The Kominsky Method , Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman ) as Harriet “Harry” Wild, a retired literature professor with a knack for solving mysteries.
Season 4 will pick up a full year after the events of Season 3 (which finaled on June 10), and “business couldn’t be better at the Wild/Reid Detective Agency as Harry and Fergus welcome an unexpected client: Charlie Wild (played by Kevin Ryan),” reads the official synopsis.
Elsewhere, Harry is hired by a friend and former wild child turned nun; Lola (Rose O’Neill) stumbles upon a dance school myster; a Dublin literary tour takes a bloody turn; and Fergus’ hopes of going to college at the same time as Lola are threatened when she gets an incredible offer to study abroad.
“We’re thrilled to be kicking off production on a fourth season of Harry Wild with our fantastic cast and crew in Ireland,” says Catherine Mackin, Managing Director, Acorn Media Enterprises. “With this series, the delightful Jane Seymour has become a beloved member of the Acorn TV family, we can’t wait to see what Harry has up her sleeve this season and what mysteries she will solve in her own unique way.”
