Dominik Szoboszlai has unveiled Liverpool's new away kit for the 2024/25 season - although fans have already seen it this summer.

The midfielder revealed the new offering from kit manufacturers Nike during a live show on the club's tour of the United States. Szoboszlai was on stage with teammates Jarell Quansah and Owen Beck at The Fillmore in Philadelphia.

The Reds have made their way to the city ahead of their second friendly Stateside against Arsenal tomorrow. Before they take on the Gunners though, Szoboszlai gave a special showing to the fans in attendance.

The Hungary international wore the new away shirt underneath his training jacket, which he unzipped to give the audience a peek at the mostly black offering with some green trim.

It's the first time one of the club's senior players has been seen in the new away kit, although it's the first time fans have been given a look at it.

Earlier this month, Liverpool's U19s give the new kit its first run out . The club's youngsters wore it during a 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga Cup.

Whether they were supposed to is another matter, given the kit had not been given its official release by that point. Even now after Szoboszlai's unveiling, the club is yet make any sort of announcement.

There is speculation that the new kit will be worn in one of Liverpool's remaining games out in the US. The Reds face Arsenal tomorrow in Philadelphia before moving on to South Carolina, where they will face Manchester United on Saturday.

The 2024/25 campaign looks to be the last season of the Nike kits, with Adidas expected to take over from next year . Nike will still be responsible for one more kit though, with the club's third kit yet to be released.

Liverpool.com says: It is strange that there still isn't any sort of official release for the new away kit, given fans have now seen it twice this summer. It hasn't been the slickest of launches, if you can even call it that.

The new offering looks decent enough, and probably a bit of a safer bet than last season's effort which proved a bit divisive among supporters. Now we just have to wait for a new signing to model it.
