Gymnastics Legend Samantha Peszek Makes Her Thoughts On Simone Biles Extremely Clear

On Tuesday afternoon, Simone Biles and the USA women's gymnastics team started their all-around team final at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Biles will compete alongside Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, and Jade Carey. Biles and Chiles are the only two on Team USA that will compete in all four events, which include the vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor.

Before the big event, NBC commentator for this event and gymnastics legend Samantha Peszek gave her thoughts on Biles, mentioning how she has bounced back from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics twisties.

“The last time we saw Simone in Tokyo, this was a competition that she ended up pulling out of due to the twisties. However, I have seen her in podium training, she competed in qualifications, and she is looking as sharp as ever," Peszek said.

In 2020, Biles had to withdraw from the Olympics, only bringing home a silver medal in team competition. She is already having a bounce-back performance in 2024.

Peszek competed for Team USA in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, bringing home a silver medal in team competition. She also brought home gold at the 2007 Stuttgart World Championship and the 2007 Rio de Janeiro Pan American games.
