Simone Biles Reveals Team USA’s Internal Message To Each Other

The USA women's gymnastics team, including Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, and newcomer Jade Carey, is looking for their first gold medal since the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, and they are on track to do so towards the end of the team finals at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Through the first three rotations, which included the vault, uneven bars, and balance beam, Team USA secured a comfortable lead with a total score of 129.131. Their final rotation will include the floor exercise, and with a solid performance, Team USA will secure gold.

Before the team final, Biles spoke with gymnastics legend Samantha Peszek and revealed the internal message between USA women's gymnastics teammates.

“Simone, in prior interviews, has called this ‘the redemption tour’ for this team," Peszek said. "They won silver in Tokyo, but now they all have something to prove here in this competition tonight."

In the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Team USA only won a silver medal at the women's team finals. 'The redemption tour' is the perfect message to deliver during this year's Olympics.

In 2020, the USA women's gymnastics team consisted of Biles, Chiles, Lee, and Grace McCallum. Biles later withdrew from the Olympics entirely due to what she called the twisties.

Update: Biles and Team USA officially won gold during the women's gymnastics team event, officially redeeming themselves.
