Simone Biles’ Reaction To Her Own Olympics Performance Says It All

Simone Biles is nearing her first Olympic gold medal since the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics after the first three rotations of the women's gymnastics team final at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Biles, in front of her husband, Jonathan Owens, and millions of fans, had three stellar performances in the first three rotations, giving her a total of 43.666 points. Team USA entered the final rotation with a comfortable lead over the second-place Italy team, with 129.131 points.

After Biles' uneven bars performance in rotation two, she was seen reacting to her stunt completion. She was all smiles and ran to her teammates, giving them high-fives. Jordan Chiles can be heard screaming in excitement with Biles.

In rotation one, Biles and Team USA competed in the vault, where Biles picked up a score of 14.900, her single highest total through three rotations. Her vault point total was also the highest of any vault competitor in the team final.

Rotation two was the uneven bars, where she scored 14.400. In rotation three, Biles recorded 14.366 points on the balance beam.

Team USA's final event will be the floor exercise. With a solid performance, Biles and the USA women's gymnastics team can bring home their first gold medal of the 2024 Olympics.
