Simone Biles’ Husband Summed Her Up With Two Words After Her Olympic Performance

Simone Biles' husband Jonathan Owens didn't need a lot of words to sum up Team USA's Olympic-gold-clinching performance in women's team gymnastics.

Biles needed just a score of 8.865 to seal gold for the Americans as fans inside Bercy Arena awaited her performance with bated breath.

The 27-year-old powered through with a dynamic floor routine that garnered her a score of 14.666.

Owens was beyond proud of what Biles and her teammates had achieved . The Chicago Bears safety posted a photo from the event on his Instagram story. Owens had a simple two-word caption to sum up the scene.

"Just amazing," Owens captioned, with a couple of emojis.

The US women's gymnastics team comprised of Biles, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera combined for a world-topping total of 171.296.

The US win earned Biles her eighth Olympic medal overall, making her the most decorated US Olympic gymnast in history. She has five gold medals, one silver, and two bronze.

The Americans edged out Italy and Brazil, who had finished second and third, respectively. For the Brazilians, it was their first-ever medal in team gymnastics. The Italians' podium finish was their first team medal since 1928.
